2. Local operation procedures 
  1. Taxiing 

    2. For taxiing from the parking positions is the TWY to be used. For taxiing to the holding position of the RWY 28 and after landing on the RWY 10 the RWY is to be used. In the event that another plane is ready for take-off or that a plane is landing, the pilot of the taxiing plane has to give way by moving to the side lane and continue to taxi after the RWY is cleared. 
    Taxiing on the RWY must to be announced on the airport frequency 122,7 MHz.
     
  2. Airport patterns 

    3. Airport patterns are to be flown to North of airport only. Altitude 370 m / 1200 ft.
     
  3. Information zone

    4. The information zone of the airport is a circle with a radius of 10 km, outside CTR Štefánik. Pilots prior entering the info zone are requested to announce their call sign, position and intended activity in the airport zone. Otherwise they are required to avoid the airport pattern zone.
     
  4. Maximum altitude

    5. The airport is located below TMA LZIB, maximum flight altitude on the frequency 122,7 MHz is 300m AGL. For flights at higher altitudes the pilot is required to obtain clearence from APP Bratislava, frequency 120,9 MHz. 
3. Noise reduction procedures 
Airplanes are requested to avoid the building in the forest at 1,5 km E from the runway 28 at an altitude lower than 100m AGL.
After a take-off from RWY 10 are aeroplanes requested to turn slightly to the right and take the first pattern turn after reaching the eastern boundary of the forest.
It is prohibited to fly over villages Krážová pri Senci and Hrubá Borša below 300m AGL. Valid especially for heavier aeroplanes.  
4. Important information - summary
WARNING:
  • expect turbulence at mid RWY behind the trees at N wind.
  • airplanes not planning to land at the airport are kindly asked to avoid the pattern zone to the N behind the railway Senec-Sládkovičovo.
