Airport Kráľová

the first and only airport established in Slovakia after 1989 private airport Kráľova pri Senci, is in the vicinity of Sunny lakes (Slnečné jazerá), not far from the highway to Bratislava (20 min) and outside of CTR Bratislava

History

in 1998 the surface has been adjusted and grass sown on the RWY & TWY fall 1998 - foundation stone has been laid and accompanied by UL aircraft meeting and navigation competition spring 1999 - the start of an active life on the airport, June - UL aircraft meeting Sept.6, 1999 - permission of the Slovak Aviation Authority has been acquired to operate the airport for airplanes to 5700 kg fall 1999 - aircraft meeting from all Slovakia fall 2000 - electric tension wires in front of RWY 10 moved underground May 26 & 27, 2001 - meeting of Slovak and Austrian aircraft organised by Pilot Club and the Slovak Federation of Ultra-Light Flying, under the financial support of PHARE May 2002 - 1st year of "witch and wizard's meeting" with a competition of precision landing May 3 & 4, 2003 - 2nd year of "witch and wizard's meeting" with a navigation competition and landing precision discipline
